How do I check app access in Admin?
Account owners and admins can use Apps → Apps in Admin to check their own app access. Only owners can open Licensing → Licenses to review the Account's licenses and the sources of that access. Your own app list does not prove that every person has the same access.
- Open Admin and check the selected Account.
- Under Apps → Apps, select Details for the app.
- Review Your access. Licensed means access comes from a license; Included means the app is included for the Account.
- Select Open when the app is accessible and has a launch link.
If an app is missing, confirm that you selected the intended Account before requesting or buying access.
Checks for an Account owner
Open Licensing → Licenses and select the relevant license. Review its Status, Coverage, and dates. Grants shows the sources that contribute to the effective license. Turn on Show inactive licenses when you need to inspect an older record.
For access that uses manual seat assignments, check Assigned users. For the Workspace subscription, access also depends on active membership and paid human capacity. Check Directory → People and Billing → Overview for those conditions.
An active subscription and effective app access are related records. After a billing change, check both before trying another purchase. A manual seat change is not a substitute for resolving an unpaid Workspace seat or inactive membership.
