How do I delete an Account?

An Account owner can delete the selected Account under Account → General in Admin. The confirmation calls it Delete workspace. Deletion removes access for everyone in that Account, including its owners, and revokes pending invitations.

If you only want to stop belonging to an organization, ask another owner to remove your membership. Deleting the Account affects the whole team. Download the material you need and review paid services before you confirm.

Delete the Account

  1. Open Admin and check the Account's name and handle in the workspace menu.
  2. Open Account → General.
  3. Select Delete workspace.
  4. Read the warning and enter the exact Workspace handle shown in the confirmation. Do not add @ or spaces.
  5. Select Delete workspace again to confirm. Choose Cancel if you want to keep the Account.
  6. After a successful response, Admin clears its Account session and returns to sign-in.

The confirmation button stays unavailable until the handle matches. If deletion fails, the dialog keeps the error visible and permits a deliberate retry. Do not treat an attempted deletion as a completed one. Admin has no action to undo Account deletion.

What is removed?

The Account is marked deleted. Its members are deactivated and marked deleted, its groups and group memberships are marked deleted, and pending invitations are revoked. The Account sends deletion notifications for other services to process.

Your personal Socra ID remains. You can use other Accounts where that ID still has an active membership.

Deletion of the Account is not proof that all downstream app data or every stored copy has been physically erased. App cleanup follows each product's contract. Save the information you need before your Account access is removed.

Review billing first

Use the supported cancellation or deletion controls for Workspace, your AI provider, and any Cloud resources before deleting the Account. Keep their confirmations. Do not use Account deletion as proof that all subscriptions, resources, or outstanding charges have been canceled.
