How do I delete my Socra ID?

Delete your Socra ID in Socra ID settings. Deletion clears your personal profile and password and revokes the ID's sign-in sessions. It also affects your memberships and any Accounts where you are the only active owner.

Before deleting your ID, download the material you need and review your paid services. If you want an Account to continue, make sure another person is an active owner who can sign in. An invitation to become an owner is not enough until that person accepts it.

Delete your ID

  1. Open Socra ID settings and sign in with the ID you want to delete.
  2. Under Danger Zone, select Delete Socra ID.
  3. Review the confirmation. Enter the exact email address shown in the dialog.
  4. Select Permanently delete Socra ID. Select Cancel if you want to keep the ID.
  5. After successful deletion, settings clears its local session and sends you to the sign-out page.

If the email does not match, correct it before confirming. A failed deletion keeps the dialog open with an error. Read the error before retrying; an attempted deletion is not proof that it succeeded. You cannot restore a deleted ID from settings.

What happens to your Accounts?

When Account processes the deletion, it removes your memberships. Accounts with another active owner remain. Groups you owned in those Accounts are transferred to a remaining active owner.

An Account where you are the only active owner is also deleted. This removes access for everyone in that Account and revokes its pending invitations. Account cleanup can follow the ID deletion, so the steps are not a promise that every product changes at the same instant.

What about app data and charges?

ID deletion clears the personal identity fields stored by ID and removes access. App content, stored files, and retained records follow each product's own deletion rules. Deleting an ID is not a promise that every copy of data in every product is physically erased.

Review Workspace, your AI provider, and any Cloud resources separately before deleting the ID. Use each service's supported cancellation or deletion action, and keep the confirmation. Charges already incurred can still be due. Do not rely on losing sign-in access to stop spending.
