A draft is unsent work belonging to you. A scheduled message is submitted to the service for delivery at a future time, including while the Mac app is closed. Neither state proves that a message has been delivered.

To resume a draft, open **Drafts**, find it, and select **Open conversation**. Review the conversation, thread, text, and attachments before selecting **Send**. If the composer says **Saved on this Mac · waiting to sync**, keep that Mac's app data until the work is saved or sent.

To discard a draft, preserve any text you need, then select **Discard draft**. Reopen the conversation and check both the composer and Drafts. Discarding a draft does not remove a sent message.

To schedule a message in Channels for Mac:

1. Open the intended conversation and compose the message.
2. Select **Schedule send**.
3. Set **Send at** to a future date and time in your local time zone.
4. Select **Schedule send** in the dialog.
5. Open **Scheduled** and confirm the saved text, audience, and time.
6. After the due time, check the conversation for the delivered message.

To stop a pending delivery, open **Scheduled**, find it, and select **Cancel delivery**. Confirm that it no longer appears as pending. Preserve the text before canceling if you want to replace it; then schedule the corrected text or time.

Cancellation cannot recall a message already delivered. If the scheduled time has passed, inspect the conversation first. Delivery can fail if the author or their conversation access is no longer active. Check the saved error and the conversation before scheduling another copy.
