# How do I change my Socra ID profile?

Open Socra ID settings to change your first name, last name, display name, or profile image. These fields belong to your personal ID. An Account also has its own directory profile for you, which is managed separately.

## Change your name

1. Open [Socra ID settings](https://id.socra.com/user/) and sign in.
2. Under **Personal information**, select the value beside **First name**, **Last name**, or **Display name**.
3. Enter the new value and select **Save**.
4. Confirm that the updated value appears on the settings page.

Select **Cancel** to close an edit without saving it. If saving fails, keep the editor open, review the error, and correct the value before retrying.

## Change your image

Select your profile image at the top of settings, then choose an image file. The upload starts when you select the file. Wait for it to finish and confirm that the new image appears.

The **Birthday** field is displayed in settings but cannot be edited there.

An Account can use a different name or image for your directory profile. Account owners and admins can edit their own person record in [Admin](https://admin.socra.com/) under **Directory → People**. If you are a member or guest, ask an Account owner to change that directory profile. Admin itself is limited to owners and admins.
