# How do I sign in with my Socra ID?

Open the Socra product you want to use and start its sign-in process. Use the email address or Google identity associated with your Socra ID. After sign-in, a product that uses Accounts may ask you to select an Account you belong to.

## Sign in with email

1. Enter your email address on the **Welcome back** screen.
2. Select **Continue**.
3. Enter your password when prompted. If your ID has no password, we ask for an email verification code instead.
4. Complete the prompt and continue to the product.

On the password screen, select **Edit** beside the email address if you entered the wrong one. **Forgot password?** starts recovery by email.

## Sign in with Google

Select **Continue with Google** and use the Google identity linked to your Socra ID. Complete Google's sign-in prompt and return to Socra.

Use [Socra ID settings](https://id.socra.com/user/) when you want to manage your own ID. Starting sign-in from a product returns you to that product.

If the expected Account is missing after sign-in, first check that you used the ID that accepted its invitation. A successful ID sign-in proves who you are; access to each Account also requires an active membership. An Account owner can check your membership or send a new invitation.
